This is an interesting line following robot without a microcontroller. This can be used by beginners who want to learn soldering and robotics.

The assembly steps and troubleshooting.

Step 1: Solder all the components
The assembly process is very straight forward. If you follow the labels printed on the PCB, you can solder all the components very easily.

Step 2: Mechanical assembly

The red wire is connected to the 3V positive power supply, the black line to ground (-ve). You need to cut the wire on the battery holder for motor. It is too long for the PCB.

Step 3: The installation of a photoelectric circuit

Photosensitive resistance and light-emitting diodes(LED) (note the polarity of LED) are fixed on the bottom of the PCB, and the gap between the ground and the LDR+LED is about 5 mm.


Step 4: Vehicle debugging

If you press and hold the left photoresistor, the wheels on the right side of the chassis rotate. Press and hold the right photoresistor, the wheels on the left side of the car should rotate. If the car is moving back, the wiring of the motor is incorrect, in that case, the wire polarity should be changed.
